Stabilitex TA15 is a lightweight tearaway backing designed to provide support for stable, non-stretch fabrics during embroidery. The 1.5 oz weight supports light stitch counts, helping reduce shifting and puckering while allowing the excess backing to tear away cleanly after stitching. 
 
Tearaway backings are best suited for firmly woven fabrics that can support the finished design once the stabilizer is removed.
